Recommended by Emma (Marketing & Communications Manager): "Water, light, and nature dance together in this delightful new work from Eva Pietzcker. The delicate layers of ink are precisely applied and wash over each other effortlessly to create the organic imagery. The bright colors are sparing and the blacks soft, balancing contrast against subtlety. It is a perfect rendition of the tranquility of a rushing river."

Recommended by Sam (Owner & Director): "Bernhard Jager's Untitled (Pregnant Woman) is a striking color lithograph which reflects the artist's early studies and interest in biology. He makes unique use of liquid tusche for most of his lithographic images. This particular technique and drawing approach allow him to suggest the inner workings of the body while preserving the outline of the form. His paintings and prints are in many museum collections including the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston."

Recommended by Paige (Collections Manager): "Karin Székessy has been an influential photographer since the 1960s, making a variety of work from photojournalism to nude photography to collaborations with her husband, Paul Wunderlich. This piece showcases her talent as a female photographer directing a female model. Székessy avoids giving the female nude an aura of 'natural beauty' that lends itself to voyeurism. Instead, the model looks directly at the camera without even the hint of a smile, composed strikingly against the stark black and white background. The image is, to me, the perfect balance of hostility and beauty."
