Humio Tomita (also known as Fumio Tomita) was born in 1932 in Japan. He graduated from the Kagoshima University of Art in 1957. He most often creates silkscreens and is known for his abstract compositions with bold colors. Tomita’s work is widely shown in Japan, the United States, and elsewhere and is collected by major museums.
