In the event that it is demonstrated by a qualified professional in the field that an item has been misrepresented, a full refund will be granted. Because we work with artists and consignors who get paid according to which works are sold, Davidson Galleries is unable to offer a cash refund for items returned beyond 7 days of purchase. Returns for gallery credit may be made up to 90 days after purchase. Under some circumstances, Davidson Galleries offers the option to take works out of the gallery on approval. HENRI PFEIFFER: Experiments in Color

Pfeiffer was a Bauhaus artist who worked with Paul Klee, Josef Albers and Wassily Kandinsky. Drawing from a combination of his own dissatisfaction with traditional painting and the influence of the Bauhaus, Pfeiffer stripped his work of representational elements and balanced his colors deliberately and skillfully to create compositions that were pure abstract expression.

CLAY & PRINTS: 8 Artists in 2 Mediums

Davidson Galleries, in conjunction with the NCECA 2012: On the Edge, 46th Annual Conference, presents a major exhibition of eight important ceramic artists who also make original prints. This exhibition, curated by Frank Boyden, highlights some of the most influential ceramic artists of the past and the present. This exhibition illustrates how versatility in both mediums can help produce stronger, richer imagery and how each discipline adds strength and sureness to the other.
