I'm the Stuff Men Are Made Of...
Exhibition: June 3rd-July 1st, 2011
Profound, gritty and expressive, this contemporary sculpture exhibition explores the human figure through uncommon mediums. Scott Fife, represented by Platform Gallery, employs archival cardboard, glue and screws in his homage to Marion Robert Morrison (aka John Wayne). Gary Curtis creates amalgamations of children born of glass, clay, bronze, steel and paint. Both artists maintain a raw aesthetic while displaying a mastery of materials in their provocative depictions of the human form.
