Regarded as one of the finest masters of the Japanese woodblock print, Hiroshi Yoshida was a prominent figure in the Shin Hanga movement of the early 20th century.  Renowned for his evocative, atmospheric Japanese landscapes, Yoshida also travelled widely, rendering breathtaking views of India, the United States, and everywhere in between.  Highly influential and widely admired, Hiroshi Yoshida was the patriarch of a family of famous printmakers that included his wife Fujio and sons Toshi and Hodaka.
